Excellent

Pros: It was out fourth time to stay in the shankley and we have always enjoyed our stay from the booking in where the staff were so pleasant the young lady that booked us in it was her first day so she was a bit nervous but the rest of the staff were really nice with her explaining what she had to do we went to our room where we found it clean pleasant and comfortable the same as every other stay we have had we booked breakfast for the two morning and it was lovely so much choice and plenty to eat and the staff that served us were so happy and chatty the one lady was sue I can't remember the

Pros: Location Cons: Room in need of some up-keeping, looking very tired and tatty. More furniture/surfaces to put things on and hooks in the bathroom.

Value for money

Pros: Lovely hotel for groups 6 of us shared a spacious room all double beds very clean and staff were friendly. Cons: Didnt know how to use the shower ...but we never asked

Would definitely stay again

Pros: The staff are the reason this hotel is so great. Even my kids commented on how kind the women were serving breakfast and asking about our trip . I didn't catch their names sadly but honestly more than kind and attentive. The reception also put out chocolates in our room and a happy birthday card for my son . Its the little things that make your trip more rememberable. Cons: Nothing it was all fantastic start to finish !
