Pros: Location is good for me close to train station, bus station. Cons: Was a bit tired looking, a bit more attention to .cleaning needed.

Pros: Location to train station and size of room. Bed was comfy. Staff were friendly. Cons: First night fire alarm went off for over 6 hours. Residents and the fire brigade could not get hold of the member of staff who was on call. Got a refund for that nights stay though and they were hugely apologetic.

Pros: Great pub, 10 rooms above, nice decor and clean. Perfect location for our Theatre night out. Thought the pub staff were brilliant. Cons: Location, as in quite noisy into the early hours, but it’s a pub so not really a problem for us.

Not great on this occasion

Pros: I like the Ship and have stayed there on multiple occasions. Cons: My stay last night saw someone trigger the fire alarm. The alarm sounded at around midnight and all guests evacuated the building. The fire brigade arrived and confirmed no fire. However, they had no ability to contact anyone responsible to allow them to reset the alarm. The alarm continued until 5am until a cleaner arrived and tried to reset it. A very very poor night and concerning that no-one was available on the emergency contact number to resolve the situation. The fire brigade are reporting multiple safety bre
