Quite disappointed as the room was very expensive and considering it had five AA stars was not up to
Pros: The room was very comfortable and the bed was great.
Cons: I didn’t like the location of our room as outside the window was a set of bins which the smell drifted into our room. Also it was quite noisy where staff were filling the bins from the bar. I did not like the attitude of some staff as they appeared not to want to be there. The food that we had in the restaurant was poor in the evening and not worth how expensive it was.

Beautiful place. Would 100% return and for longer next time. Thank you for looking after us.
Pros: Beautiful location. Amazing building. Our room was perfect! Comfortable bed, shower powerful, lots of space. We went for my wife’s birthday and they left a gift of different fudges, with happy birthday written in chocolate on a plate.
Cons: Bathroom needed some TLC. Cracked floor tiles and sink had a crack in it. However this is not in any way a negative just an observation as it did not impact our stay.

A fine overnight stay and centrally placed
Pros: Nice Cotswold property with extensive outdoor area, lounges comfortable, bathroom fine but prefer a walk-in shower. Breakfast was very good with good choices. Staff were very friendly
Cons: Room too hot no air conditioning. As the weather was extremely hot the duvet was far too thick, hot and heavy

Gorgeous setting and lovely historic buildings.
Pros: Lovely historic buildings and gorgeous country setting. It's a stunning little village to stroll through at dusk [or anytime, really] and you can experience Bourton-on-the-Water without the masses of people.
Cons: The room was comically stuffy and hot throughout our stay, but because there were insects and bugs [including an 8cm-wide spider and an unrelenting stream of flying-biting-things], we could not have the windows open at night. A fan was provided, but it only was a very small desk fan - they really aren't built for or capable of moving air around an entire bedroom. Additionally,

Pros: The accommodation and the location were really good.
Cons: The service in the restaurant during breakfast was unfortunately really not good
Pros: The accommodation and the location were really good.
Cons: The service in the restaurant during breakfast was unfortunately really not good. The food was okay, but we had to wait almost 30 minutes for a good coffee or no coffee came at all. It took a very long time overall for the food to arrive.
