Pros: The Standard is a little gem. Super helpful staff, comfortable and well designed rooms, amazing views of the city and a great breakfast menu. Can't wait to go back. Cons: Can't think of anything.

Embarrassingly small room with bad experience
If you are rich enough to stay in those spacious room with a great view like in those glowing five-star reviews, good for you. Otherwise, most of you are likely going to get a embarrassingly small room and leave with a bad experience. We arrived around noon and asked for possibility of early check-in. They did have a room available but wanted to charge $15 for it. Sorry that is one star gone. We have stayed at plenty of hotels where the staff had no issue with that request. The room is tiny even by Manhattan standards. And believe me, I have stayed at plenty of hotels here. I don't know who
