Beautifully renovated, boutique charm, great location

New renovation is beautiful. The staff was so helpful and detail oriented. The Laurel restaurant is amazing as well.

After hours arrival was difficult

If you’re arriving late, be aware that after-hours access may be challenging. My flight was delayed, and I arrived around 1:30 a.m. I had already requested and received a mobile key, but discovered that the hotel’s front entrance was locked and the mobile key does not unlock the front door. I spent approximately 20 minutes outside on the street ringing the doorbell and repeatedly calling the front desk, which required navigating a lengthy phone tree each time. Eventually someone let me in. I was told that I should have called sooner and that waiting outside while ringing the bell and calling

I have stayed here before and have always had a good experience however, I did not feel like price matched the service.

Pros: The location Cons: My bed was very uncomfortable and it was difficult to reach a manager. One of the elevators was not working.

Uncomfortable queen mattress and low water pressure

Great location, excellent front desk staff, and valet service. My room is on the 16th floor, and the shower water pressure is extremely low. I stayed in a two-queen room, and the mattresses were quite uncomfortable. It seemed the mattresses were not replaced during the renovation. One additional note regarding breakfast: the menu advertises fresh-squeezed orange juice, but it did not appear to be fresh-squeezed. I would recommend updating the description to better reflect the product being served.
