Lovely relaxing stay.
Lovely hotel, great views of the river. Went as a family and had three rooms between us. A standard double, superior queen and deluxe king, all the rooms were really nice and very comfortable. Great evening meal and breakfast.

Pros: The pub/hotel has been extensively updated to a high standard.It combines the old with the modern and should be excellent . The staff try their best.It is in a quiet village location but accessible to/from main routes. Cons: The plumbing. The bathroom had random sewage smells ( due to the toilet waste pipe being ineffectively sealed with blue roll rather than plumbed in correctly). On our first night we had no hot water (due apparently to the immersion heater in our tank not being switched on) so no showers. On the second morning we had scalding hot water only to find the shower temperat
