Great place to stay.
Pros: Was a lovely hotel, walking distance from Piccadilly. Easy place to get around. Good room size, lovely high ceilings. Cons: The shower! I personally don’t like overhead showers (waterfall heads) if you have them provide shower caps, now I always travel with them. Women don’t like them!
Perfectly nice and great location.
Pros: I requested an early check-in as we were attending a graduation ceremony that afternoon, so would appreciate the extra time to get changed. We were accommodated and this was really helpful. Cons: For such a beautiful building with potential for something quite unique (if simple) the interior of the rooms and general areas was bland. It was a shame there is no reception area as this meant that unless we went into the bar there wasn't anywhere to sit and wait for others.
I have been to the Townhouse now several times and it is now my hotel of choice when I stay over in Manchester.
Location is excellent, near to China Town.

I had a very spacious room and it was exceptionally clean. Also quiet.
It was a good experience for a night's stay in the center of Manchester.
The family room was lovely and big and although there was no real view, the windows were large. The bathroom was excellent, with a big bath as well as a good shower.
