Pros: Great staff, really friendly woman behind the bar made me and my dad feel welcome. Lovely little village. Cons: The room could have done with a little update but it was sufficient for us. Price was a bit steep but this was due to its location close to download festival

Pros: Convenient location near Burton-On-Trent, as a stopover before Bloodstock festival. Room was comfortable, bathroom and shower worked great. Good amount of space in the car park for modern cars. Friendly staff. Cons: No breakfast. Mattress wasn't pocket-sprung, not great for two people.

Lovely pub, comfy bed & large bathroom.

Pros: Everything new and lovely, staff at pub were very welcoming and helpful. Beautiful, charming village location. Cons: A few small practical things that would make the stay a little bit better: a bin & toilet brush in bathroom, pods for the coffee machine, a hook/rail to hang a towel in bathroom.
