Despite the drawbacks, we enjoyed exploring the history of the hotel. This was our second visit.
Pros: The room was a good size and clean, with a good selection at breakfast. We didn't use the spa. The staff were polite and friendly, providing good service. We love the hotel grounds; they are so relaxing. Cons: Needs more parking during busy times and no air conditioning.

Pros: Great location with lovely gardens to enjoy a drink in the evening. The spa facilities were good, and it's great that you can use them during your stay. Cons: There was no toilet paper in our room! I have never experienced this in any other hotel, even budget hotels! Cleanliness could be better - the blinds in our room were thick with dust. We had booked afternoon tea - the tea itself was fine, but the service was shocking, not what you'd expect when paying £30 per person.

Pros: The location is fantastic, lovely and secluded. If you go for a walk outside, the gardens are lovely, and we even saw a wild deer walking across the golf course. The food was lovely; we had the bar menu, which was a little pricey but tasted delicious. The dessert was to die for. The breakfast is a must; for the price, there was a lot of variety to choose from. Cons: The room was lovely, although the bed squeaked a lot even when you turned over. The spa access is great, exactly what we wanted. However, it needs a bit of TLC. Many of the tiles in the outdoor pool were damaged and looked me
