Excellent food and very helpful staff.

Pros: The food and the friendliness of the staff. Cons: The bedroom was a little quirky. Like the rest of the hotel it was an interesting mixture of very old and ultra modern. I would have preferred some more comfortable seeting.

Great location and high quality accomadation and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again

Pros: 13th century inn but modernised internally ideally located in the centre of the village. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Cons: I was staying in the attic room which was very atmospheric with old beams but fitted out to a high standard. There were however lots of steps up to the room so I was very glad one of the partners did offer to transport my case down them on leaving
