Our stay was amazing BUT.... I have been robbed by the hotel. They charged me twice for our room. The Hotel said they blocked 17,000 AED on check in, I was asked to pay the same 17,000 AED on check out. When I got home I found the hotel had taken 17,000 AED not blocked it off my card. I have not received the money back and the hotel do not intend giving it back so far.
One of the best hotels in Dubai, the staff are fantastic, they go out of their way to help. The food options and theme nights are top quality, and the pool/beach facilities are exceptional. If you are looking for a child friendly hotel, with luxury, this is up there with the best.
This was by far the worst Westin experience I’ve ever had. We booked 2 rooms and a suite for a group of 8, yet the service was appalling from the moment we arrived. The staff are unfriendly, rude, and argumentative – with absolutely no sense of professionalism. The person who checked us in was dismissive and arrogant. Despite our club lounge access, he didn’t even update our keys. Basic courtesies like a simple “good morning” or acknowledgment from staff were completely absent throughout our stay.
