Pros: The location was very good and the staff very frienly and helpful. Cons: It would not be a problem normally, but the stable room was not very well lit

Pros: The location was very good and the staff very frienly and helpful. Cons: It would not be a problem normally, but the stable room was not very well lit. My wife is SSI (severely sight impaired) but otherwise the room was very comfortable.

Perfect location, interesting old Village with beautiful countryside around it and train station very nearby.

Pros: Very comfortable high standard hotel in the centre of the village and one of its oldest buildings, and full of charm unfortunately, I had booked to eat elsewhere so cannot comment on the food. Cons: I was in the attic with amazing wooden beams etc but there were a lot of stairs. Fortunately, one of the partners running the business insisted he would carry my heavy suitcase down the stairs which was very much appreciated being of the older generation.

I would have no hesitation in staying here again.

Pros: The staff were wonderful, so helpful and attentive. The bedroom and decor all good. Cons: Not something that can be altered, but due to the age of the Inn, the internal steps, and there are a lot of them, are quite steep and unsuitable for anyone who has difficulty in walking and getting around.
