Pros: The property is now outdated and in poor condition. It is in serious need of a complete renovation. Cons: Overall, the hotel’s prices, both for accommodation and dining, are extremely high and in no way reflect the actual value or quality offered. You are essentially paying a premium for something that simply isn’t there. The prices are unjustifiably high compared to what you actually receive.

Pros: Wonderful stay I don’t understand the bad reviews. Our room was cozy, well appointed and quiet. The beds were comfortable. The air conditioner was a welcome addition as it was a warm, humid October day. I enjoyed the view of The Common. The shower was spacious with good water pressure. I enjoyed the amenities and offerings. Well stocked mini bar. If you want anything. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and the food was excellent. The onion rings were exceptional. Great location outside of city centre but with easy tube access. Local shops provide everything you need, although would recommend a 2 stop tube trip to Balham for even bigger range of shops/supplies. Pub underneath is great but does not create noise that can be heard in the rooms. Great access to Clapham Common
