Incredibly kind hosts that went out of their way for me, allowing me to check in early as well as giving me a lift back into town for a wedding
Incredibly kind hosts that went out of their way for me, allowing me to check in early as well as giving me a lift back into town for a wedding. Real, genuine people. Delicious home cooked breakfast arranged the night before. Secluded property off a gravel lane with only nature's noise to be heard. A real off-the-beaten-path gem. Loved being able to see donkeys, rabbits, and other wildlife right from my window. Great shower, warm bedding, and comfortable bed. Only qualm was that the walls were a bit thin and I could hear some other guests chatting in the middle of the night, but wasn't too lou

Nice quiet place to stay.
Very quiet location. Away from everything. Friendly and helpful host. Enjoyed cooked breakfast too. Tea and coffee available in the dining area. Rooms comfortable. Had a good night's sleep.

Lovely stay at the Woodlands
Lovely stay at the Woodlands. The owner and his wife couldn't be nicer people. It's a nice change from the homogenised and impersonal experience you normally find at the typical chain hotels. The setting of the place was so nice as well. Lovely trees, beautiful countryside and the nice older buildings... it made it feel unique. Breakfast was excellent and the whole vibe of the place was relaxed. I would stay here again!
