Recommended Downtown Dallas option
Great hotel in downtown Dallas- liked the very comfortable bed and opulent entrance and overall vibe of the hotel. Had breakfast in the Little Daisy which has a nice ambience and food. Pool is small but has some great views of downtown- overall a perfect stay!

Pros: In centro. Comoda. Bello esteticamente e con un bel ristorante al 49esimo piano. Cons: Camera non pulita. Polvere su i mobili, sopra mobili, Nel letto conternitore. In bagno c’erano unghie tagliate.

Good in downtown but uptown uptown will be better for safety now given the situation of Dallas downtown. Rest was okay for me.

Definitely Performative
Thompson Dallas is what this generation calls performative. This hotel appears beautiful but that’s about it. The valet staff is friendly even when we arrived during a super busy time when they were dealing with a ton of guests for a wedding rehearsal. Front desk staff was not warm or welcoming though check in process was quick and smooth. I’m not sure what I was expecting. Maybe a little bit more welcoming for a “fancier” property. We were on the 18th floor for our stay but it was as though we stayed on the ground floor. We heard all the obnoxious pretend expensive cars throughout the night r
