Pros: Great sized room, and a friendly and helpful host, who pointed us in the right direction for some local walks and a cheery eating place. A good location for walks and sightseeing in the Peak District Cons: The WiFi drops in and out a bit, but if you have your own access, then it's fine
Great place to stay in Hope Valley in the Peak District for walkers/cyclists & nature lovers
Great 2-night stay here in Hope Valley in the north Peak District, just a short drive to Castleton where we hiked the Mam Tor ridge. Really spacious, clean, and comfortable rooms, fresh-cooked breakfast, spacious parking, and friendly host. Nearby Castleton is a lively little town full of restaurants & pubs, packed with walkers and cyclists and bikers and other nature enthusiasts.
