Pros: As it was a wedding the wedding venue was good Cons: On check-in booking .com description clearly states complementary use of spa , when the breakfast was paid at Checkin enquired about spa and was informed as the room was booked room only it would cost £70 for the spa This I found quite distasteful as it was complementary in booking com
Great stay for wedding anniversary
Lovely hotel and spa, both spotless. Very welcoming staff, polite and friendly. Room was spacious and comfortable and good value for the money. Lovely little welcome for our wedding anniversary too. Highly recommended
Good but I felt there were lots of potential extra costs
Pros: It was pretty, the room was nice to be in and it was clean. The staff were really nice especially the bar staff! Cons: everywhere I looked there were extra charges. Charges for having your room service brought on a tray I thought that was weird. Our stay was supposed to include a cream tea but on our arrival it was never mentioned and we were too shy to ask so that was our fault really.

It was okay as we stayed over for wedding day do and evening reception.
Pros: Room size and bathroom was good. Staff were nice. Cons: The lighting was very poor we only had bedside lights on wall and at entrance. Could not have curtains open when we were getting ready for wedding reception due to no privacy nets and were right near the room where people were on the grounds of the hotel could see straight into the room. The tv remote did not work because back was off and batteries kept coming out. Tried to call reception to report this but no one picked up.
