It was good enough for what we needed it for. Though skeptical about the cleanliness, it was quiet and temp controlled.
Pros: It was conveniently located in the city. Close to all trains and places to eat. The ac worked wonderfully and there was a shared balcony with a lame view, but you could smoke. Cons: The bathroom smelt bad. The bed was not that comfortable. The sink in the kitchenette was dirty with dried leftovers from the last stay.
An unfortunate booking
Pros: Nothing Cons: Everything! Cheap badly decorated. Really a flop house and taking advantage of tourists. Floor was concrete with a colossal slope . No hot water at 6.30 in the morning for a shower.
Close to the subway but at what cost
Pros: Subway access Cons: Rooms without lighting and to top it off painted black. You can hear noise from other rooms, there were people having a party until like 5am and the music was annoying, besides they were shouting and laughing, you could also hear other people doing private things... no one wants to hear that.
Near the metro but at what cost

More dedication to cleaning, not just where it's visible. Everything else was great.
