Very outdated. needs a renovation. I would skip Hakone altogether as a place in this trip

Cons: Hotel and room were very outdated. We didnt't enjoy the restaruant either. It may well be excellent for locals but for us the food was too 'difficult' to handle. We barley touched the breakfast courses

Even though it was raining and we didn't get to do the Loop, our stay here made the trip worth it!

Pros: The onsens weren't crowded even though it was a rainy day. Having a private open air bath in our room was heavenly. Meals were amazing and the free amenities like heated eye mask, popsicles, open bar, and late night ramen made it feel more special. Cons: Nothing to dislike

Great place if you want to relax, the location is perfect, rooms are specious and bathtub on balcony is the high point of it

Great place if you want to relax, the location is perfect, rooms are specious and bathtub on balcony is the high point of it. The best part of stay was definitely the dinner and breakfast, the food was amazing and staff in restaurant was simply the best!
