We had a wonderful experience at the University Arms. The rooms were luxurious. Breakfast delicious. One follow up- the chaise lounge was badly stained (see photos). Would not have expected in a 5 star hotel

The Classic twin room was large and gorgeous and the bathroom was spacious and sumptuous. Nice touches, complimentary chocolate and water and tea coffee with biscuits. Breakfast included almost anything you could ask for, all self service unlesss you require something other than what is on offer. Although we did find that the bacon was a little tough! Very nice and comfortable stay with exceptional air conditioning that really came in handy.
Pros: Room was old-fashioned, but in a very nice way. Everything worked well. Breakfast was remarkably good and enjoyable. Location was within walking distance of the destinations I wanted to visit. Cons: Some stains on carpet in room, but wssn't an issue for me.
