Very pleased with our stay great location
Pros: Convenience to location to town Cons: Cobwebs on ceiling but other than that was very clean great bar area for drinks
As press t stop over A great location and cheerie friendly land lord and staff
Pros: Very comfy room Cons: We was at the front of the property and it was a. It noisy from the traffic
Sfeervolle schone kamers boven authentieke pub, op 5 minuten lopen van het fraaie centrum
Pros: Knusse kamer, superschoon, goed bed Cons: Kleine kamer. Douchen in het bad, uitstappen glibberig. Wastafel wel wat erg klein. Jammer dat ze geen ontbijt serveren
Third time we have stayed there
Pros: Lots of character and very convenient. Good that there is private parking. Cons: Couldn’t get the Internet to work
Traditional pub close to Durham city centre with lovely staff.
Pros: Staff were welcoming, Libby was generous giving us a bottle of Prosecco. Phil was also very helpful. Location was excellent close to the city centre and cathedral. Parking was close by. Liked the tea and coffee, also the complimentary bottles of water. Beds were comfortable, and the family room was spacious for the three of us, myself, wife, and teenage son. Cons: The room was very warm. Thankfully, a Dyson fan was provided which we appreciated. Very tall people might find the ceiling height under the eaves a squeeze.
