Wonderful
Pros: Beautiful calm spacious accommodation. Felt very relaxed and at home with wonderful hostess Francesca. She is very kind and welcoming. She gave us good tips regarding where to visit locally and was very accommodating. Cons: Nothing.

A magical place for a rural getaway
Pros: The breakfast is an enriched continental breakfast. A good choice of baked goods, cereals, some fruit, some ham, preserves, and good coffee. It’s not like the breakfast buffets of larger places (no eggs, no hot dishes), but a good start for the day. The owner, Francesca, is exceptionally helpful with advice about restaurants and nearby attractions, and is herself a charming conversationalist. Restaurant tip: don’t miss Gabbiano in Corte dei Cortese—Francesca can get you a reservation. It’s a 6 minute drive. The hotel itself is the wing of an old castle/ palazzo. The paintings on wal
