A very special place and a lucky find
The property has an incredible view of the area. It’s high up just slightly out of the main town. It’s so quiet and peaceful but there is also a lot going on if you want it - there is a wellness centre with a massage, yoga studio. Massage is highly recommended. An infinity pool overlooking the hill top.
We had dinner at the villa in the evening - curries and rice. Superb.
It’s a team effort at Villa Rosa. The owners are supported by a brilliant team of staff that are treated like extended family.
We were taken along to the market by one of the team and shown around while he did the daily

Pros: The property is well located on the top of the mountain but only 15 minutes of the city by Tuk tuk.
We were lucky enough to get upgraded in the family suite which gets the best view of the rive

We were lucky enough to get upgraded in the family suite which gets the best view of the river and forest.
We even assisted to a cooking lesson and get a Kandy market’s tout organized by the hotel so thank you again !
Cons: There is not a lot of activities to do in Kandy but it allows you to enjoy completely the hotel
