VIVID - Lake Macquarie Cosy House, heated pool, ev station, fireplace 1 hour from Sydney

Beds were very comfortable, kids absolutely loved the place plenty or rooms, space , fireplace was my partner’s favourite bit about it kept the whole house warm, everything essential in kitchen was helpful made ourselves feel at home, pool was great for the kids unfortunately was cold though the kids still enjoyed. Would go back also owners were very nice to let us stay back longer.

Affordable, super comfy and peaceful retreat that is a couples haven or family retreat

Pros: Affordable, and very comfortable, great location for a quick escape from Sydney on the lake. We stayed in winter and LOVED having a cosy wood fire which made the entire house toasty. The downstairs is all hard surfaces tiled floor brick walls etc so initially it was COLD but the wood fire warmed the entire home. What it made me think was “this place is going to be very cool during hot summer” and very practical with the tiled floor and kids. The pool was absolutely lovely and it was super clean. The property was beautiful the pool was amazing kids loved it, nice area very peaceful the hosts were wonderful and very responsive 10/10 We will be staying again!!

Great family friendly, pet friendly place to stay

Pros: I loved everything! From the pool and the outdoor living area, to simple thoughtful touches such as knitted blankets on the couch and design books. The lights around the pool are lovely. The mattress was so comfortable that I am buying the same one for my home. I slept really well. The house is clean and functional. The hosts were lovely and so are the neighbours. Absolutely would stay here again. It was nice to use the indoor fire place. A very comfortable, family friendly place to stay. Grateful to find a pet friendly place for my family too. Cons: Everything was great.
