Beware the construction noise

I have stayed here a few times the most recent a 4 night stay in a premium room. The room itself was large very clean & with a comfortable bed. I was very disappointed to discover that it didn't come with a fridge. Anyway the worst part was every morning around 5am being woken up by the booming and clanging of the ongoing construction works near the hotel. This racket went on until around 6:30am. I complained at check out and was told I would be awarded some service recovery points but got no contact whatsoever & no points. Interesting to note that I cannot leave a review on the IHG site as I'
