Lovely
Pros: Beautiful old building with lots of charm. Friendly staff and a really warm welcome at check in. Lovely food too! Location was a huge plus. Close to the city but also well placed to walk the Thames path Cons: The door chain was fiddly and I was locked in my room. The hotel admitted it was fiddly and sent a member of staff to help. But in the case of a fire or emergency this would be a problem and potential danger. The hotel chain should remedy this with clear instructions on the doors of rooms
