Serenity on the Strip
The WA is tucked away behind store fronts on the strip which immediately creates a calming atmosphere. The entrance is steps away from the strip unlike some other hotels that seem like a mini hike. There is no casino in the WA however there are casinos and shopping within walking distance. The room and food met the expected WA expectations.

When is Waldorf not a Waldorf? In Vegas!
For those of you who remember when the Waldorf Astoria was the Mandarin Oriental, you will sad as is most of the veteran staff who remember the glory days. The check in process is slow as the desk is staffed by atateurs. Try calling the hotel ahead of time and it is difficult o get a live person. Requests for simple things from housekeeping like dental kits take a long time and the restaurant twist is gone. Zen Kitchen has a great view, but overpriced sushi. The quality does not match the price. No mustard for a turkey club at Peacock Alley...the best they can do is dijonaise. Ditty dishes

Nice hotel but boring
Pros: I upgraded for a suite and it was nice and clean. The view was a good catch.
Cons: The pools are small and unattractive. Very boring looking pools. The pool bar service closed at 5pm which is way too early for hot summer days in Las Vegas The coffee and pastry shop opens at 6:30 AM. Way too late for hotels. The lobby is too small.
