Riverside location
Just spent a few days in this nice hotel, from check in you had to find your own way to bedroom which was outside across a yard and up an outside stairs to a separate block, to be fair room was nice but dated, bed was comfortable, tea and coffee & Electric Kettle supplied. Bar area doubles for dining and is nice
Lovely outside space by the river, but all this area in need of updating . We had dinner on a few nights and food is excellent. Little village setting nice for a quiet break. JPM

Beer was ok the rest was expensive and not worth it.
Pros: It was a place to sleep.
Cons: Bar shuts early, windows are very thin, breakfast was tiny for £12.00. Carpet felt and looked dirty. Room service never changed sheets. Shower was very bad took ages to wash. Toilet wasn’t the best too smelt like ass before stopping there.

Avoid!!! Didn’t stay and refused a refund, felt unsafe, restaurant was empty on a Friday evening and one member of staff
Pros: Avoid!!! Seemed nice on approach but went downhill from there! Should have checked other reviews first!
Cons: Rooms are dirty, stained, furniture falling apart, light fixtures not attached to the wall and rotten windows, strong foul smell, pictures are deceiving and when asked for a different room we where told we can change rooms for a fee (that were no better) and that they didn’t see any issues with the room. Refused us a refund and drove home 3hours ruining my son’s 16th Birthday.

The place is absolutely perfect ❤️ love this hotel
Pros: Location and the facilities in general…. Was too hot this summer and i believe Uk will need air conditioning in hotels very soon.. but it is not the hotel fault.. it was absolutely amazing
Cons: Not about the hotel, it was perfect.. but next to it There was a boat in the river number 44 that the man had a big dog living inside tight with a rope.. all day night.. it was uncomfortable to see this abuse everytime i sit outside … i am surprised as this area is so animal friendly and nobody did anything about it.
