Unfortunately, we were only in Port Elizabeth for one night. Only because of this accommodation, we will be back on our
Pros: Pretty and comfortably furnished with everything you need. Beautiful garden. Very sympathetic, friendly, and super helpful owners. Very safe Cons: No, everything is top.
Amazing.
Pros: The rich family history. Jane was super kind. I stayed in the Macfaren room which is named after the mother Cons: Nothing
The ideal PE layover/city base/overnight stop
Pros: Wow, this was truly a find. We couldn't have asked for a better 'PE airport layover'. It ticks every box - location (a mere 10 minutes from the airport), convenience (several good restaurants just outside the gate; Hussar's Grill highly recommended), a lovely garden setting with pool (that we never got to use), attention to detail (generous overkill on every front), a kitchen stocked to the hilt with delicious goodies for the self-serve breakfast, and really good value. Our stay was short, but just so enjoyable. This will definitely be our go-to in the future - flying in and out of PE, o
Super successful
Pros: Great location - 7 minutes by car to the airport. Quiet neighborhood, House with a rich history, tastefully decorated. Hostess - ready to move heaven. Opposite the house, a great restaurant where it is very difficult to find a free table, but thanks to the hostess's phone call, we had a real feast, with every room occupied - a voucher for a free bottle of wine. Heated bed, in the lobby, a stylish fireplace with the possibility of lighting a fire in the evening. Breakfast - self-service with a full fridge and pantry. Cons: NOTHING!
