It was a pleasant stay staff tried to please us but the state of the bathroom was awful
Pros: Breakfast was fine ! Location was good Cons: State of shower room
Quirky, historical hotel in Central St. Albans.
The location is superb! It's a 5 minutes walk from all amenities in the heart of St.Albans. Beautiful building, very quirky inside, you can feel the history. Loved the room, it was very well equipped. Fresh towels, tea, coffee maker, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, soap was added. Very comfortable bed. Lovely and very helpful staff.
A comfortable and enjoyable stay in a fantastic central location.
Pros: Room: Comfortable, clean and full of character, with everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Breakfast: Excellent breakfast with a good choice, generous portions and friendly service. Location: Fantastic central St Albans location, ideally placed for exploring the city and its attractions. Cons: Duvet too think for time of year.
Itsa DUMP VERY DIRTY AND UNPLEASANT
Pros: Nothing Cons: Everything part from staff & BREAKFAST
Lovely base from which to explore the wonderful St Albans.
Pros: Had a free room upgrade which was a lovely surprise. Room had loads of character. Nice welcoming atmosphere and so central for sightseeing. All members of staff who I came into contact with were all very friendly and willing to help. Loved the theatre of the venue. Very cozy bed. Cons: The car park area is tight. Not for a new or nervous driver. I’m sure my floor wasn’t even which did make me feel like I’d had a drink but that goes with the age and style of building.
