Above average but needs some tweaks

I wish I could give 3.5 stars to be honest as 3 seems too low but I definitely don’t think I could give a 4. The location of the hotel is fab! Really close to lots of decent restaurants and bars, only 20 mins on the bus to old Trafford and the Trafford centre. The grounds of the hotel are lovely, I like the cobblestones as you walk in, I could swear there’s also a chocolate like scent that’s pumped throughout as well. The coffee shop is great and reasonably priced, couldn’t get enough lattes. We didn’t have any breakfast but I wish we did as it looked amazing. The staff are friendly and I like

Excellent central and friendly accommodation

Perfect for a family Twixmas break to Manchester. Loved the atmosphere and design of the rooms! Great coffee shop and excellent customer service - thank you!

Great hotel

Amazing hotel in a great location. 10 minute walk from the train station which was easy. All staff were fantastic and so helpful. The rooms are gorgeous. We will be back.

Lovely relaxed base with easy, walkable access to the city

Better than expected quality and size of room with lovely big windows over looking the canal. The mini kitchen and lounge area were a most welcome surprise. Unfortunately, the double bed was two singles and they slipped apart in the night, but each bed was most comfortable. A minor hiccup in an otherwise great experience.

Beautiful stay!

Beautiful hotel, lovely atmosphere. Staff were very helpful and professional. The rooms have everything you’d need and more. Very clean and safe. Cafe and the staff there great, friendly and chatty. Food delicious!
