Very poor standards and did not live up to the photos on the website.
Pros: Bar and restaurant were nice. Cons: We paid extra for a balcony with a view. The balcony was dirty and the outdoor furniture was old and scruffy. Certainly not worth the money to upgrade. The gym had machines out of order. The pool water was dirty and murky, the changing rooms were unclean. Carpets were stained and worn.
Wonderfully friendly welcoming venue. Easy access to motorways if required and to city centre etc. amazing staff. Lovely
Pros: Firstly the staff were extremely friendly and communicative. Helpful and upbeat despite how busy they were. Cons: Had 2 TVs in the room. However, one of them did not work which was the one in my space. Not catastrophic but would have been an extra delight. A fridge would have been helpful?
Great staff but road noise and £5 parking charge per night
Pros: Really friendly and helpful staff, handy that parking was right outside the room Cons: Wasn’t expecting the £5 per night parking charge - seemed unnecessary given the location. Lots of road noise even with the window closed. Hot room with a really dusty fan. The lighting circuit had issues so we could only have the bedside lights on when the main light was on too - really unhelpful in a family room with kids trying to sleep. Dated room and only two towels despite being a family room.
