Pros: Staff amazing and very friendly and proficient Hostel to enjoy alone, with friends and with kids(schools, families...) Very clean Big areas to relax, lounge and garden, kitchen big, near the station, near the museum and central London... Cons: The internet connection is sometimes lost in the room and in the kitchen

An economy option. Essentials covered, but some discomfort in the summer nights for a 30s couple

Pros: Well-mannered staff and good options for public transit. Private sink in double's room. Water refill stations and multiple bathrooms. Public garden space! Location is clean and in a pleasant neighborhood. Cons: A/C is only available in reception room and room's window opens about 4 inches. Bring your own towel. Just enough floor space for two full size suitcases. I've slept on plusher camping pads than the provided mattress.
