It's not a 5-star. Terrible.
Pros: The breakfast. Cons: For being a 5-star hotel and paying for a superior room, the experience was quite bad. I rate it a 1 because the breakfast was very good. The room was small and without any comfort. The furniture was old and worn out. Sewer smell came up from the bathroom drains. The bathroom window wouldn't close, and the room windows were old and barely soundproof. The hotel's security policies seem like those of Somalia, the hotel staff made me feel like a potential criminal, always watched and even followed. I lost the money from the reservation, but I left 2 days early. Too expe

Perfect stay
Excellent hotel in Botafogo with extremely friendly staff! The hotel is clean, well-equipped, and has a great breakfast buffet. Thank you Felipe and all the other colleagues for giving us such a warm welcome and making us feel at home in Rio! We will definitely be back!
