Great location for walking
Pros: Great location, wonderful food, loverly staff, nice and clean Cons: Weak shower, no milk in the room for tea.
Comfortable beds, spacious clean rooms, friendly staff, good food which accommodated for gluten free and a great central location.
Just one night, and happy(ish)
Pros: The location is great and the staff were really helpful and friendly. Cons: In room towels were quite small and thin. The dining experience started with "order from the bar," which is not what you'd expect in a restaurant.
A hotel to use again and again
Typical Derbyshire building and exceptionally welcoming and supportive staff. We will stay again without doubt.
Pros: I had a really good sleep here. The bed was very comfortable and the rooms were clean. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional. The hotel was very dog friendly and provided me with a room with easy outdoor access (have an elderly dog that requires more loo breaks). We were also in very close proximity to green space, woodlands and walks. Had a super relaxing time here. Cons: Nothing niggled me.
October here averages 9°C, with around 93 mm of rain across the month.
