Hotels in Anse La Raye

Anse La Raye is a small fishing village on Saint Lucia's west coast, best known for its weekly Friday night "fish fry", when the main street fills with grilled fish, seafood stalls and music. Outside of that one evening, it's a quiet, unpolished place, with faded colonial-era wooden buildings and a working harbour rather than any real tourist infrastructure. There isn't much to do here day to day, and the village itself feels sleepy compared to the resort strips further north around Rodney Bay.

What it does offer is proximity to Saint Lucia's better-known west-coast scenery, including the road south toward Soufrière and the Pitons, without the crowds or prices of those areas. Stay here if you want a genuine, low-key village experience and easy access to the Friday fish fry; base yourself closer to Soufrière if you want beaches and Piton views as your priority.
