Hotels in Antigua

Compare prices from multiple booking suppliers and find the best hotel deal in Antigua.

Antigua sits inland in Fuerteventura, a former island capital turned quiet agricultural town built around palm groves and traditional Canarian architecture, most visibly at the Centro de Arte Canario. It's known more for what surrounds it than the town itself: the vast dunes and beaches near Caleta de Fuste and the Jandia peninsula draw far more attention than Antigua's own streets, which are modest and workaday outside the old windmill and craft centre.

Be honest: there's little in the way of nightlife or dining variety here, and most visitors treat it as a stop rather than a base. Its real advantage is location — central on the island and a short drive from Fuerteventura Airport (FUE), making it a practical option if you want to avoid the coastal resort crowds while still reaching beaches quickly. With only 16 hotels listed, choice is limited, so book early if the dates matter. Stay near the centre, close to the Centro de Arte Canario, for easiest access to the town's few real sights and quick onward routes to the coast.
