Hotels in Ibiza

Ibiza has spent decades being sold as one thing — superclubs, foam parties, DJs on billboards — and that reputation is deserved but incomplete. The clubbing scene, centred on Ibiza Town and San Antonio, is genuinely world-class and still shapes the island's high prices and short, expensive summer season. Away from that, Dalt Vila, the walled old town above the harbour, is a UNESCO-listed maze of stone streets and bars that has nothing to do with foam machines, and the north of the island keeps a quieter, hippified, sunset-and-yoga reputation from the seventies.

Be honest: if you're not here for nightlife or willing to pay for it, June to September can feel overpriced and overrun, and things shut down hard in winter. Ibiza Airport sits close to Ibiza Town, so flights in and out are easy regardless of where you base yourself. Stay in Ibiza Town itself for the best mix of old-town character, restaurants and nightlife access without needing a car.
