Hotels in Gaschurn

Gaschurn sits in the Montafon valley in Vorarlberg, and it's the biggest village of the Silvretta-Montafon ski area — the lift network up to Nova and Silvretta-Bielerhöhe is the real draw, not the village itself, which is quiet and residential outside ski season. It has a minor royal footnote: the Belgian royal family has skied here for years, which locals mention more than tourists notice.

With a population of just over a thousand, Gaschurn has limited nightlife and dining variety compared to bigger Austrian resort towns, and in summer it's a sleepy base for hiking rather than a destination in its own right.
