Santa Eulalia is a small town in the Jiloca valley of Teruel province, Aragón, with barely over a thousand residents — this is rural inland Spain, not a resort destination. Its main claim to fame is architectural: the town's Mudéjar-Gothic church tower is one of the standout stops on the Ruta del Mudéjar, the trail of brick-and-tile towers that gives this part of Teruel its distinct look. The area is also tied into the region's serious jamón industry, with curing operations that supply the well-regarded Jamón de Teruel.

Be honest: there's little else to draw a traveller here — no beach, no nightlife, and a genuinely limited choice of six hotels reflects how few visitors actually pass through outside those following the Mudéjar route or on business tied to the ham trade. Restaurants and shops close early, and this is a car-dependent stop rather than a walkable tourist base. Stay in the town centre near the church tower, since it's the only area with any real amenities within walking distance.
