Hotels in Tetbury

Tetbury is a small Cotswolds market town whose name is now inseparable from Highgrove, King Charles's private residence nearby, which has pulled in a steady stream of royal-adjacent tourism and upmarket antique shops. The Georgian high street and seventeenth-century pillared Market House are genuinely handsome, and the town works well as a base for exploring the western Cotswolds without the coach-tour crowds that clog Bourton or Bibury.

There is not much to actually do once you have walked the streets and browsed the antiques dealers, and evenings are quiet even by Cotswolds standards. It also has only a handful of restaurants, so options thin out fast outside peak season.
