Hotels near Paris-Orly Airport (ORY)

Orly sits south of Paris proper, and unlike Charles de Gaulle, it's compact enough that staying genuinely close doesn't mean isolating yourself in an airport hotel zone with nothing else around. The Novotel Paris Coeur d'Orly Airport, 0.8 km out, is about as tight a base as you'll find — sensible if you've a very early departure or land late and just want a bed.

Whether it's worth pushing further out into Paris itself depends entirely on your schedule. Orly doesn't have the rail connections into central Paris that CDG has (no direct RER line into the city centre), so if you're planning to sightsee before or after your flight, factor in that a transfer to and from town takes real planning rather than a quick metro hop. If your flight times are tight — an early morning departure or a red-eye arrival — basing yourself within that 3 km ring is the pragmatic choice. If you've got a day or more to spare either side of your trip, staying properly in Paris and treating the airport transfer as a separate, planned leg of the journey makes more sense than hunting for a compromise hotel that's neither close to the terminal nor close to the city.
