The DP World Tour Championship — the season finale and a Rolex Series event — closes the DP World Tour year on the Earth Course at Jumeirah Golf Estates in Dubai, from Thursday 12 to Sunday 15 November 2026. The climax of the Race to Dubai crowns the season's number one and brings the year's top players together for a lucrative finish under the Dubai sun.

History

The DP World Tour Championship is the grand finale of the European-based DP World Tour, staged each November on the Earth Course at Jumeirah Golf Estates in Dubai. First played in 2009, it was conceived as the climax of the season-long points race now known as the Race to Dubai, and it has grown into one of the richest and most prestigious events on the men's circuit.

The Earth Course, designed by two-time Open champion Greg Norman, is a sweeping desert layout famous for its dramatic par-five 18th, which curls around water to a grandstand-ringed green — a fitting stage on which to crown a champion. Rory McIlroy has dominated the tournament's history, winning it more than once and taking the Race to Dubai title on several occasions, while the event's status as a Rolex Series flagship guarantees a world-class field. Played under warm winter sunshine, with floodlit evenings and a festival atmosphere around the course, it closes the golfing year in some style.
