The International League T20 — the UAE's fast-rising franchise Twenty20 competition — returns to the Dubai International Stadium, the tournament's showpiece ground and the home of its final. The International League T20 arrived in January 2023 as the United Arab Emirates' first major franchise Twenty20 competition, sanctioned by the Emirates Cricket Board and quickly establishing itself among the world's high-profile leagues on the strength of its international star names and its DP World title sponsorship.

Six city-based franchises contest a short, intense campaign shared across the country's three international grounds, and the Dubai International Stadium is the tournament's showpiece, staging the final in every season so far. Part of the Dubai Sports City development on the western side of the city, the ground is best known for its 'Ring of Fire', a halo of around 350 floodlights that rings the roof and gives night matches a spectacular glow.
