Hotels for King's Day 2027, Amsterdam

Koningsdag turns Amsterdam into the world's biggest street party: the whole city dresses in orange, the canals fill nose-to-tail with sound-system boats, and every pavement becomes a vrijmarkt — the one day anyone may sell anything on the street, so children hawk toys and grandmothers sell pancakes side by side.

It is enormous, good-natured and completely free. Stay the night before for Koningsnacht, the warm-up night of parties, and expect the trains and hotels to be full weeks out — this is the Netherlands' biggest day of the year.
