About Denver Broncos

The Broncos joined the AFL as a charter member in 1960, the fan-chosen name evoking the wild, hard-to-tame horse of the American West. Denver reached the Super Bowl seven times, losing its first four before John Elway finally delivered back-to-back titles after the 1997 and 1998 seasons, closing out a long and much-loved career.

The Broncos won a third title after the 2015 season behind a dominant defense in Peyton Manning's final year at quarterback. Mile High Stadium's altitude has long been cited as a genuine home-field advantage against visiting teams unaccustomed to the thin air, and the Broncos' orange crush colours remain one of the most instantly recognisable identities in the league.

About Empower Field at Mile High

Home to the Denver Broncos, Empower Field at Mile High is a large open-air stadium a short drive west of downtown, known for its mountain views on clear days and the famously thin high-altitude air. The surrounding Auraria and Sun Valley districts are redeveloping, with LoDo and RiNo's bar scenes a short ride away.
