Buffalo Bills

Every Buffalo Bills match this season, home and away — each one links to hotels near the ground it’s played at, so away weekends are as easy to book as home ones.

Home ground: Highmark Stadium, Orchard Park

Good to know: NFL game dates and kick-off times can move — flexible scheduling shifts games between Thursday, Sunday and Monday slots, especially from midseason. If your trip is built around the game, choose a free-cancellation rate so your booking can move with it.

History

The Bills joined the AFL as a charter member in 1960, reviving a name first used by an earlier Buffalo entry and honouring frontier showman Buffalo Bill Cody. Buffalo won back-to-back AFL titles in the mid-1960s, but the franchise is best known for reaching four consecutive Super Bowls from 1991 to 1994 and losing all four, an unmatched run of near-misses capped by a last-second missed field goal in the first. Jim Kelly's high-powered no-huddle offense of that era remains the defining chapter in team history. More recently Josh Allen has led a new generation of playoff runs, and the loyal, cold-weather Bills Mafia fanbase has become part of the team's identity.

Records & quirks

  • Tyler Bass kicked a franchise-record 61-yard field goal to beat Miami as time expired.
  • Bass also holds Bills records for most field goals in a game (six) and most points in a season (141).
  • In 2021 Buffalo scored a touchdown on every offensive drive in a 47-17 win over New England.
