About Royal International Air Tattoo 2027
The Royal International Air Tattoo is the largest military airshow in the world — over three days in July 2027 (16–18), more than 200 aircraft from air forces around the globe gather at RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire for a spectacular programme of flying, from fast jets and display teams to lumbering heavy transports.
Around 150,000 spectators pour into the rural Cotswold airfield, and beds for miles around fill up fast, so this is very much a book-early trip. Fairford is a small town, so most visitors stay in Cirencester, Swindon or the surrounding Cotswold villages and drive or shuttle in — book as close as you can and plan for busy roads on show days.
