A great hotel if you want an affordable hotel with a great location in Tokyo

Pros: Perfect location in Ueno whilst exploring both the neighbourhoods and Tokyo itself. Cons: A small and sometimes crowded reception. A shame the hotel did not have an onsen for hotel guests.

Perfect for a short stay - central close to trainstation and lively food area

Pros: - Very clean room, everything that is needed was available (even shaver, toothbrush, hairbrush, Kimono, etc.) - The location close to subway, lively area with restaurants and Ueno trainstation is perfect. - Despite being a lively area, when the window was closed it was very silent and possible to sleep. Curtain closes well. The AC worked without problems. Cons: - The breakfast is a joke - don't book it! There are plenty of alternatives nearby (Starbucks, etc.) - The room and bathroom is really small. This was not a problem for me personally, but someone tall (even if not overweight)
