Great stay but Herculaneum could do much, much more.

Pros: The location of the property is ideal for visiting both the center of Herculaneum and the excavations. Cons: Unfortunately, we always had the windows of the room closed (also a bit our fault) but the view was not the best.

Nice apartment in Herculaneum, good base for visits in the region.

Pros: Perfect for visiting Herculaneum/Vesuvius. Quiet room in a quiet street not far from the train connection to Naples. Good contact with the host. Cons: We had trouble opening the front door. Communicating the front door code could have helped here.

PERFECT AND HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Pros: Modern and very well renovated, perfectly functional. The location is strategic: very central, 5 minutes from both the entrance to the Herculaneum excavations and the Circumvesuviana station. The room is overall spacious, well-lit (ours even with a nice balcony) and objectively very beautiful, with a large bathroom and perfect glass shower. The owner (Francesco) is extremely courteous, always available and smiling, providing us with useful and effective information for our needs. The breakfast, although essential but good and of certain quality, is served at a choice of two bars nearby.
